Greetings to you from Freo! Fremantle Harvest came into being as a heavenly sanctuary, for visitors to this special place affectionately called ‘Freo', on the west coast of Australia.
The inspiration for creating a place and space for you to experience a truly memorable stay came from reading a passage on Kairos Time in Sarah Ban Breathnach's Simple Abundance.
My parents often from the east coast of Australia and they provided the motivation. Mum & Dad love to take a trip and I grew up with travel in my blood. My work has also been a blessing providing an indulgent feast of business related travel. So as travel destined people, we were excited when we opened the door of Fremantle Harvest to other travelers in April 2004.

We have lovingly furnished the apartment to create a short-stay haven and a distinctive alternative to a hotel room for those who appreciate a higher standard in accommodation when they travel, and who may want to immerse themselves in the Freo culture. We'd like you to arrive and instantly feel at home, slow down and find the place inspiring, appreciate our thoughtful design and enjoy the fabulous location in one of the world's most vibrant port cities. To date we have had wonderful guests stay who treasure the place in the same way that we do … and who respect the privilege of staying somewhere that is more than a standard hotel room. When you do stay, you may have contact with a few extraordinary people that know how to create the Fremantle Harvest experience for you: - Ryan my brother, and I, are the main contacts for your booking enquiries and requests (we provide the warm & friendly smile over the phone and via email)
- Ryan is also our numbers man who looks after the cash flow (and provides the okay for expenditure to keep the place in tip top shape for you)
- Cervina is our never-tiring property manager (who keeps the place sparkling)
- Eleanor is our interior design guru and our booking desk back up (who reenergises the Fremantle Harvest look effortlessly)
- Phil & Damyon are our maintenance men who toils with repetitive touch ups to the apartment fabric (originally created from a warehouse building).
